Following today’s iTunes Match expansion into Hungary and Poland, Mac Rumors reports that movie support for Apple’s iTunes in the Cloud feature is expanding internationally into more than 30 different markets, as films are now able to be re-downloaded via iCloud in the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and more. Here’s a list of currently supported markets:
Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
Above all else, Apple is clearly expanding its international offerings lately, which makes more and more sense as server-side services grow in importance for the overall Apple experience. Case in point: as we reported earlier, iTunes Match is now available in 57 total countries.
You can check out the official iTunes in the Cloud support documents here to see what’s available in your country today, but note that this new support for movies has yet to be updated on the site.
