After a Q1 earnings call today that blew apart all of the numbers we expected to see, Appleâs CEO, Tim Cook, sent an email to his employees heralding this quarter as the strongest in Appleâs history, according to 9to5Mac.
Hereâs the email to the Apple staff:
Team,
Thanks to everyoneâs hard work, weâre off to a great start in 2012. Last week in New York we launched a groundbreaking initiative for education with iBooks textbooks, and today we reported the strongest quarter in Appleâs history. Please join me tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. in Town Hall. Weâll review our record-setting results and discuss some exciting new things going on at Apple. The meeting will be broadcast live to many sites in Cupertino and other Apple locations. Please check Apple Web for details.
Tim
Cook promises to announce some âexciting new thingsâ going on at the company during its Town Hall staff meeting tomorrow. While itâs unlikely that any of these ânew thingsâ will be leaked to the public, itâs interesting to wonder what those things might be.
For all we know, Apple could be putting coffee machines into every cubicle. Of course, theyâd be referred to as âiCoffeeâ machines. If we do hear anything, rest assured that youâll be the first to know.
