The new iPhone may have an August 16th launch date according to job ad

A job listing for iPhone Sales Staff in the UK suggests that the new iPhone might launch on August 16th this year, 9to5Mac reports.

While the job isn’t for an Apple Store, it is a position that Apple themselves are advertising through recruiter Gekko. It’s likely that the position is for an Apple branded section within a larger department store, which are generally operated by Apple themselves.

The position advertised doesn’t last for long, with employment lasting from the 16th of August until the 29th of October.

The time frame suggests that the temporary staff member will be brought onboard to deal with the huge demand that an iPhone launch brings.
