Early build of Google Chrome OS posted online

Early build of Google Chrome OS posted online

A wonderkid Google fanatic revealed a Chrome OS folder on the Chromium servers recently. In turn, he managed to download the files before Google removed them and has now made the early build of the OS available via rapid share and torrent.

The reader, Richard Frederickson, has uploaded the files here and as buggy as they may be, you can apparently insta the OS if you have linux.

Frederickson shares some screenshots of the Google Chrome OS too for you less inclined to install the OS.

When Techcrunch reposted these I must admit to hoping for a bit more an insight into the inner workings of the OS, the desktop, navigation etc.. That said, these are early builds and we’re not really even supposed to be seeing this release – so who’s complaining.
