Facebook vs Twitter, who wins on the iPhone?

Appsfire is a simple service that makes it easier to share iPhone apps. Ouriel Ohayon is the brain behind Appsfire and besides making it easier for users to share stuff in the process they also find out some interesting statistics about iPhone usage.

One thing they found out is that although Facebook has about 6 times more users than Twitter (nobody knows how many users Twitter has but lets assume 50 million versus Facebook’s 300 million) they aren’t as popular when it comes to iPhone apps.

Ouriel has put together a nice slideshow which quickly became the most popular presentation on Slideshare.

I didn’t just decide to write about them though. Ouriel bribed me by naming me a VIP and posting my favorite apps to their blog. I’m soooo cheap…
