Esther Gons did the sketchnotes during The Next Web Conference 2009. We enjoyed her work and decided to start contributing more often. (like it too? Follow her on Twitter) Here is a first drawing she submitted. Kinda struck a nerve with me. I wonder how many people have experienced this situation or variations of it. Tell us now. Don’t be shy…

Lovely sketch Esther! Recognizable feeling…
I remember being in the Lamborghini factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese all by myself. I was so excited. Then the lovely guide asked for my phone and camera. No pictures or videos allowed. WTF? It felt awkward; knowing not being able to relive the moment through a vid or to share it instantly through a mobypicture with others. Sigh. But fact is that now -a year later- I can still see those extraordinary cars being handmade build, remember the smell, recall the jokes the employees made and rejoice the feeling of sharing different heartbeats in one hour… damn.
Switching OFF can sometimes turn your senses ON.
I stopped. She stopped. We all stopped. and kind of things started to happen
I tweeted about this yesterday, but I love this. I can only wonder how many times this will happen on my coming vacation :)
