I disagree David, I think it makes more sense if he was doing this while freaking out than if he were acting. People do all kinds of crazy shit when they’re in a fit of rage, but if he were acting, sticking a remote up ur ass would even be more of a stretch unless he was a totally genius actor. Whether or not it’s real or fake, guess we won’t find out unless someone actually talks to this family.

He only needs to take Depakote for 2 to 4 years, and then be slowly weened off the medicine, and then he’ll be fine! No more out of control rages. I am leaning toward real. First off someone said that the kids mom and/or the other brother admits its fake on the brothers website, which she or he do not. It draws to a link. But if you DID have a psycho son, and were as irresponsible to treat it as the videos show, you would probably claim its all an act as well. But my main argument is, Who would do this to themselves? I mean sure people want attention. They do plenty of crazy things, but these videos set this kid up for a life of ridicule. It is possible he could be using this as a platform for better things, at which time he could declare the videos fake. But, in the mean time, it wont be worth it. As friends make fun of you, or girls think you are insane, and millions of people insult you on the internet. I don’t think anyone wants that type of fame. But who knows?
Assuming for the sake of argument that these are real,
I’d say Jack needs some serious attention as well. He’s selling his brother for internet fame. It’s sick and sadistic. This is the kind of person I can see abusing animals for entertainment. I have major issues with the last comment the grandmother made in one of the videos as well. Anyone that has dealt with troubled children (or even normal children) can tell you that that is a line you never cross.

The videos are indeed fake. Go on youtube and search for the radio interview with his mom, she explains that everything is completely staged, and that this Stephen is the mastermind behind all of these clips.
I think the family is just covering up the fact that they are real. If I was that mother, I would probably tell the entire world that they were staged as well because I wouldn't want anyone thinking I am an irresponsible mother with a sadistic child. But i do know that this kid, Stephen, does have serious anger problems in real life. All of these ideas lead me to beleive that the videos are all very real. Also, I have a brother who is similar to Stephen because he plays Xbox 360 and has the scariest temper I have ever seen. My entire family is afraid to go in the basemant while he's playing becaus ehe will normally scream as he does and throw shit at us. The only difference between my brother and Stephen is that my brother is 260 lbs and has the ability to beat the shit out of us.

I believe that this whole family is in crisis. First Jack seems very Passive Aggressive, he seems to find pleasure humiliating his brother's illness. The parents are part of this twisted situation. In one video you see Stephen running from his father, where coincidentally dad says a rage threat much like what Stephen uses in his rage fits. Mom laughs and snickers at Stephen and it seems like they all get a rise out of provoking Stephen. Last of all and most sad there is Stephen. He is in serious crisis mode here. His rage is scary and easy to provoke. He right now is coming of age, think of the consequences of this being posted are present humiliation and future humiliation. The people who he will interact with as an adult can easily find him just a simple google search. This really is not funny people Stephen will be let loose in society soon as he become 18.

This is insane, I just saw the video and at first I thought his brother was a genius for getting all of those freak outs on video. But Stephen needs serious medical attention, it’s not normal to spasm like that and get so angry. He’s loosing so many brain cells with those rage fits all of a sudden and needs considerable attention before something even more chronic develops.
All these are fake. If a child WAS like this and it was video taped that the parents did NOTHING in his destructive mode, child protective services would have taken the children by now. Come on people – you see they have $$$. He would have been through some type of testing and if he was diagnosed with a disorder, I douubt they would be broadcasting it for fun. That’s contributing to the delinquency of a minor, child endangerment, and/or neglect. The vidoes are funny only because they’re not real.

I can’t help but believe this is real. I have a brother who acts the same way, it’s a disorder. My parents used to video tape his fits and show them to his friends to teach him; if you don’t want people seeing it, then don’t do it. This actually helped my brother and, with help from therapy, he was able to change. He still has fits, but not as crazy or often.
I do believe this family should stop posting these and help him.

Did you anyone else notice that even when Stephen talks he may look at people but he really doesn’t see them? He has a behavior disorder. He don’t know basic social cues, how to interact with others, or what appropriate responses are. To people living in places like the North East where taxes are high and you’d have to be upper middle class to have half of what that family does they seem rich. But they live in the midwest so they only seem to “have it all”. I don’t think his parents went to college because an educated person does not let their child act in that sort of way and think there’s nothing wrong. Jack was probably just sick and tired of waiting for the next freakout. So this is how he is exacting his revenge. In fact I think the whole family has been dealing with this since he’s been able to throw fits as a baby. These reactions aren’t taught but can be made worse without interventions. Really it’s just like any other disability such as dyslexia or downs syndrome. They happen regardless of parentage but with the right environment a child can thrive. But people would rather think their kid is brat over having a disability.
