I find it very odd that every window looks exactly the same. I’d say it’s a fake.
However, that doesn’t matter too much. The idea is funny and it could well have been true. It’s trueish.

This is SO cool! I wonder if they had to set up a wireless system for all the strobes or if they actually had to wire the whole thing together. Turning an entire building into a video game display… fascinating. Thanks for posting this!

So many examples of prior art, and all of you still missed Blinkenlights (2001) which was quite spectacular back then!

Now I know for a fact that at least half of the nextweb team was already around on the ‘net at that time…
