Twitter has always appeared to be most useful to those essentially selling something. Whether it be a product, a site, service or themselves, almost everyone usually seems to have a motive – aside from Twitter’s initial goal – to make it easy for friends to stay in touch.
TalkToChange and InSites Consulting have combined to work on what they are calling “the largest study ever” on peoples motivations for using the service.
You may notice a hash tag #TwitterStudy floating around Twitter with a number of different questions, all related to what Twitter means to you. By simply replying to those, you automatically get involved. You can also just follow the Twitter study here and keep updated as to new questions and results posted daily. Live results are also found live on UltimateTwitterStudy.com.

Nice post, but please stop the “Powered by WP Greet Box” bs’ing. I came using Netvibes (my feed reader), having subscribed to your RSS Feed. And what does ‘the thing’ say:
“Hello there Netvibes user! If you find this article useful, then you should consider subscribing to the RSS feed in your feed reader.”
Isn’t that what I already did? Cut it!
Done, i completely agree with you
