SimpleCountryCodes: Painless way to check dialing codes when calling abroad.SimpleCountryCodes makes it easy to check the precise numbers you need to insert before dialing someone’s number abroad.

Disappointingly, you can’t enter cities just yet but nevertheless, it’s a great idea and definitely useful if you dial abroad often.

  • Hey there,

I'm the creator of this site and I'd love to hear any suggestions/ideas for making this site more useful/painless. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
  • Hey there Lenny, i would do the same here if I were you: http://beta.friendfeed.com/weloveapps . People are bound to give you loads of feedback there too if you ask for it.
  • Awesome tip, thanks!

The cheapest pre-dailer for the selected country would be a nice addition.
  • What about the tip to remove the Zero in the areacode?
My request how to call from Romania to The netherlands will give this as a solution:

    00 + 31 + area code + phone number

That would mean that some random number in Amsterdam would look like this 0031020-12345678, but it should be 003120-12345678. Should be easy to fix. ;)
  • I'm all over that. Heard that same request from a few people now.
  • This feature has been added (through a tip below the number). Enjoy!
