Jake Stride of Tactile CRM Tactile CRM’s Managing Director Jake Stride said: –

“Tactile CRM is a great way to manage your sales process and keep your team on top of client data, and with the integration of Freshbooks, we’re making it even easier for budget-conscious growing startups to make sure they are on top of their customer and financial data – both critical areas in these cash-strapped times. And you can try it free, of course. I’m also delighted to extend our free to enter competition for Next Web readers.”

The winner of the Business Account will be selected at random by Tactile CRM (you must use the Sign up Code ‘TNW’ to enter), and will be announced here on The Next Web blog in early February. The Tactile CRM Business Level account allows for up to 20 users, 25,000 contacts and 5Gb of data space. Please note that you are under no obligation by signing up, and can use Tactile CRM’s free model indefinitely.

Tactile CRM offers Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software under a Software as a Service (SaaS) Model, and with this update, allows users to integrate Freshbooks’ invoicing system directly into Tactile’s data, so that as well as viewing customer contacts, Tactile users can gain a more holistic view by being able to view financial transactions. The Freshbooks integration works both ways, with the ability to import customers into Tactile CRM from existing Freshbooks accounts data, and also add new clients from within Tactile CRM.

Freshbooks is an online invoicing, time tracking and expense system that operates, like Tactile, on a ‘freemium’ online model, with differing levels of accounts designed to accommodate growing companies, and includes modules to allow payments integration with PayPal and Authorize.net, as well as with time tracking widgets and even Basecamp. Although based in the US, it has a very international user base, including the UK, Canada and Australia.
