As I see it, the poor benighted Government didn’t have any choice in this.

The simple fact is – they’ve run out of personal data to lose, so had to find a quick way of getting hold of more of our information.

It’s part of their new Data Incompetence Project, tying in with ID Cards, DNA records and the NHS.

Expect this data to be lost in new and innovative ways as time progresses.
