The invite discount is definitely something i want to implement, Paypal does not currently support discounts for recurring payments though but i might work around that by using gifts instead of discounts. As the founder mentions, you can't do PR like you would with a tech startup. You really need to reach your niche audience of artists. I guess the only way to do that without a budget is give your current users a tool to do your PR for you. Like a widget or an invite-discount or something?
