Maybe, just maybe, twitter users don’t want to be monetized. Maybe, those that try will always be labeled as spammers by users that just don’t see Twitter as a way for you to make money out of.

Definitely, those that try to make money by out and out spam such as Adjix will lose their readers and respect. Maybe, just maybe, it simply isn’t worth the risk.

But hey, if you’re the sort of person that thinks it is all great stuff, then go ahead. Twitter won’t miss your sort when your followers fall to zero.

Spam? Why is everything someone doesn’t like spam?

Look, twitter desperately needs to monetize and this is an example of a *service* they could implement that would at least start bringing something in the door.

IOW, they could do this to every single twitted link with little or no impact on users – even the ones clicking link.
