Cool to see so many art school (and especially HKU projects) being reviewed.
From my own point of view though, it’s fun that you can escape the marketplace for a few years, but after that it kicks in twice as hard, and a lot of projects go down after the students graduate, because they suddenly find out they actually need a job to get some food on the table. Would be fun/good though if there was a solution to do something with all that creative energy.

When I graduated, we worked with 5 people for 4 months 5 days a week on a project and we build www.ondergrond.org , unfortunately it's sleeping at the moment. For those who are interested, here some projects from 2006 (wow thats like the last century) http://www.blueace.nl/2006/09/afstudeerexpositie-hku-%E2%80%93-nieuw-talent-in-opkomst/ (in Dutch) and one site that is still alive and growing: http://www.helpalot.org
