		<description>Sign language is much more difficult to learn than touch typing. Better to compare it with learning Russian. If you start as an adult you&#039;ll never be fluent, so 3x faster input than talking is not going to happen. Additionally, I really doubt whether gesture recognition is easier than voice recognition. Personally I&#039;m hoping for a neural-to-computer interface somewhere during my lifetime.

A fascinating book about sign language is Seeing Voices, by Oliver Sacks.
