Wendy's (formerly branded as Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers before February 25, 2013) is an international fast food chain restaurant founded by Dave Thomas on November 15, 1969, in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The company moved its headquarters to the Columbus suburb of Dublin, Ohio in 1976. The executive headquarters was moved to Atlanta, Georgia in late 2008, but in 2011 returned to Dublin, where a large workforce had remained. It has been owned by Triarc since 2008.
