TRVL is a publisher of travel related content on iPad. It publishes a magazine about a single destination every week. TRVL was co-founded in the Netherlands by photographer/entrepreneur Jochem Wijnands and Apple expert/creative Michel Elings a day after they met for the first time at a friend’s party. It launched from a spare bedroom in Elings’ home. TRVL is part of iPad history because: TRVL was the first exclusive magazine in the world, launching in September 2010.
