Fox Sports 1 is an upcoming American sports-oriented cable and satellite television channel. The network will air live sporting events, including UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Major League Baseball, and UFC, and original programming. The network will be owned by the Fox Sports Media Group division of News Corporation, and is expected to launch on August 17, 2013, replacing Speed.
