Finally! Shodogg is the Internet video solution consumers AND owners will love

Finally! Shodogg is the Internet video solution consumers AND owners will love

The content wars are hotter than they’ve ever been and video is no exception to this. Every content owner wants to keep their player, keep their ads and keep their rights, but all we consumers want to do is just watch a video in a way that’s easily accessible from anywhere. With Shodogg, these two things don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

Shodogg can take video from any source, maintain the player and then allow it to be played to any Internet-connected screen. So whether it’s a “smart TV”, a computer or something that doesn’t even exist yet, Shodogg allows the user to control, share and watch video in the way that they want to.

The important thing to note is that Shodogg is a service that positively affects not only the viewer but also the content owner. Since the content can literally be played to any Internet-connected screen while keeping the branded player, it makes sure that the content owners are getting their due.

Now, back to the consumer side of things – What really sets Shodogg apart is how it handles the curation, sharing and playback of the videos that you love. You can fetch video from any approved source (we used YouTube in the demo video below), then start playing it back on the screen of your choice. If you want to move to another room, just open up the Shodogg mobile app and select the screen of your choice, which will have a specific numeric code assigned to it. When you get to that next screen, your video will resume right where you left off.

Shodogg was just unveiled this week, after working in stealth mode for quite some time. It’s going to be a long road to get the company completely off the ground, but the team has the right idea, the right offering and now all it needs is traction.
