Drawn to Scale discusses its “Heroku for big data” – Spire

Continuing our coverage from day 1 from Web 2.0 Summit at The Palace hotel in San Francisco, we interviewed Bradford Stephens, founder and CEO of Drawn to Scale. He discusses Spire, Drawn to Scale’s new distributed database service, and how it’s going to change how data is handled on the web. Stephens describes Spire as “Heroku for Big Data,” where mass amounts of data will be networked and distributed all over the cloud on a truly distributed index, allowing a minimum threat of server and data crashes.
