You’ll soon see quoted tweets properly in third-party Twitter apps

I had to move from my favorite Twitter client Tweetbot to the official iOS app because it wasn’t able to show quoted tweets properly. Now it looks like I might be able to return.

It’s two months since Twitter overhauled how quoted tweets work, and it’s now rolling out an API update that will allow other apps to take advantage of the feature.

However, as the developers of Tweetium for Windows note, that doesn’t mean your favorite Twitter client will let you use the feature, just that quoted tweets will display properly.
