Auto-complete and Reply to All come to Twitter

Auto-complete and Reply to All come to Twitter

All things considered, the new Twitter is a raging success. However, there are always new features that can be added to make a great thing even greater. Hearing that call, Twitter has implemented two features today that Twitter developer Dustin Diaz hinted at recently.

  • Reply to All
  • Auto-complete

The reply to all function does exactly what you’d think – if two or more names are mentioned in a tweet, your reply button will now reply to all mentioned accounts. However, the down shot to this is that you’ll have to manually remove people that you don’t want mentioned, as an option to reply to only one is missing.

Auto-complete is like bringing Google Instant to your Twitter page. You can start with your @ and then add a letter or two. As you can see in the main image for this post, the auto-complete feature will start to give you suggestions that you can then click or arrow to in order to accept.

Overall? We’ll take it. Both of the features are welcome additions and we look forward to seeing what else Twitter has in store.
