Maybe I’m a freak, but I love watching machines destroying everyday objects. That’s why I unapologetically subscribed to the well-known Hydraulic Press Channel, where an unnamed guy crushes random products with his industiral-grade press. It’s extremely addicting to watch, but I think I’ve just found something better.
The guys behind the Waterjet Channel also like to demolish things, but in a very different way. With the help of a 60,000 PSI water jet, the duo cuts straight through every object imaginable — just take a look at the camera being halved in the video above.
They even cut an Apple logo into the company’s iPhone 7, which seems like the most stylish way to break a $649 phone.
There’s something about water cutting through hard materials that makes me feel uncomfortable, but maybe that’s why it’s so fun to watch.
The channel does get weird from time to time — for example, take a look at the jet cutting through this block of ice containing a tarantula.
Check out the channel for more including a Jawbreaker and a bowling ball, but beware — for the next few hours your productivity will also be cut in half.
