As hardware gets cheaper and more approachable, the next step is for game studios to start pumping out some really great content. Batman: Arkham VR was a great look at what’s possible, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg. The titles we’ll see over the next two years should truly be awe-inspiring.

In a dream scenario, a lot of us (presumably) would love to see Rockstar Games release its next ‘Grand Theft Auto’ title in full virtual reality goodness. Hell, a remake of GTA 5 in VR would be more than enough to appease most of us. Cruising through Los Santos as Trevor, Michael or Franklin while raising 360-degrees of certainly sounds appealing.
But, then again, there’s a con to every pro.
As YouTube channel ‘Corridor’ shows, this dream scenario could get all too real. Granted, the premise of the video is a magical headset, but even when taking away the fantasy elements of the short, I’m not sure I’m ready to see Trevor doing pelvic thrusts in his tighty whities in VR.
Some things might just be too real for gaming.
