When the social publishing tool of Women’s Weekly magazine malfunctioned today, something both weird and wonderful happened to its Twitter feed.
Instead of posting the full tweet including a link to the article, it only pushed the headline out to Twitter, making for some very, very strange tweets.
Suddenly, the magazine started looking like a twisted art project tweeting out messages like the above. Even though it was a wonderfully strange sight, the staff decided to quickly take down all tweets.
The headlines might have made sense in the context of the women’s magazine website, but now they ended up freaking out its 15,000 followers.
Thanks to journalist Ti Butler, who spotted the hilarious mistake on the magazine’s account, we can still enjoy the screenshots of what happened.
