This could be how we drink whiskey in space


Space boozing is an under-researched area and in science fiction, characters tend to guzzle invented beverages rather than drinks we’re familiar with. Ballantine’s, the whiskey brand, is obviously bummed by that thought. It wants to ensure it’ll survive into the next space age.

Its solution? Designing a glass that it thinks will work like a charm in zero gravity. The company calls it the ‘Space Glass’ and it’s really made and tested it. It’s also made a batch of whiskey specifically for drinking in space.
