Artist Tony Ruth channels children’s book author Richard Scarry for a spot-on view of Silicon Valley

Richard Scarry is a beloved author of children’s books. I had roughly, all of his books as a kid. His most famous series of books involved Busytown, a town populated with animal citizens.

It was quaint and beautiful. Silicon Valley and the egos that permeate it are neither of those things.

Artist Tony Ruth decided to illustrate the patent trolls, digital prophets and cryptocurrency experts in the land of zeros, ones and over-inflated egos in the style of Scarry’s Busytown. The result is hilarious and slightly depressing.
