Geek icon Felicia Day releases anthem for the nerds, “I’m the one that’s cool”

For those who like their pop a little nerdy and are fans of the actress who is known for her video gaming habits, you will be delighted to learn that Felicia Day has launched a new YouTube channel, “Geek and Sundry“.

The  channel will run Day’s weekly update ‘Flog’ on geek counter culture and the things that take her fancy, Table Top with Wil Wheaton and his board games as well as musical efforts like the video posted today.

In ‘I’m the one that’s cool’, Day performs her nerd anthem, touching upon the social issues and struggles of the geek kind and it features members from her Web series, The Guild. Kinda catchy and strangely familiar to us geeks who got through the high school grind and realised it was all worth it.
