Scale of the Universe is an interactive experience that takes you from atoms to galaxies

Scale of the Universe is an interactive experience that takes you from atoms to galaxies

Scale of the Universe is a wonderful interactive “game” where you zoom from the edge of the universe to the quantum foam of space-time and learn the scale of things along the way!

It’s a humbling look at the tiny scale to which our lives operate, but it keeps us aware of how much unexplored territory there really is. Also, every item you zoom by has a quick encyclopedic entry to explain anything you might not understand.

Overall, it’s an impressive learning device that shows how much, and how little we know about the universe. If you’re anything like me, you’ll get at least an hour out of this thing.

For the heck of it, creators Cary and Michael Huang also made a “wrong” version (which randomly mixes up the scale of objects) and a swirly version. You can also view the experience in Portuguese (older version), if you so desire.
