Air Clicker – take snapshots with just your hand.

Air Clicker – take snapshots with just your hand.

The Air Clicker, by Yeon Su Kim, strips out of all the bulky components of a digital camera into an air guitar-like experience for photography.

The concept consists of two pieces that fit around your thumb and forefinger like a ring. The thumb module has an on/off button and a camera lens, while the forefinger module detects tension to set the footage mode and sense when a picture is taken. The Air Clicker connects to your smartphone via bluetooth, preventing the need to take out your phone when capturing a quick, precious moment!

While the idea is here, the implementation is not. This concept is just the beginning for the future of embedded products. Share any other concepts you’ve found or heard of with us in the comments below. More power to the bionic man!
