Call it a song for our digital times. Anyone who’s worked on an old office computer can identify with the frustration of trying to convert documents and images from different file formats. But rather than get cranky about it, Israeli band Umlala wrote a song in tribute to a common frustration, ‘My Pdf Files.’ The song starts off “My world is a document. I can put it in a disco,” and continues, “Digital camera picture my grief. What format should I use to find joy?” Pretty clever, no?

Combining live action with stunning animation, this video is equal parts steampunk and Tron, with some keyboard cat thrown in for good measure.

We think it’s worth sharing for the visuals alone, but it could also provide some welcome relief when the office printer is on the fritz, or you’ve had it up to here with technology.
