In 2007, Irish police noticed they’d written over 50 tickets to a single driver, Prawo Jazdy. The individual had citations under many different addresses and police wondered why repeated punishment hadn’t changed the man’s driving habits.
It turns out that Prawo Jazdy is Polish for ‘driver’s license’. Great job, Irish police!
