Amazon is teaming up with a bunch of electronics manufacturers to bring its Fire TV experience to new 4K TVs this year.
That means you won’t need a Fire TV stick or set-top box to use Alexa skills, or stream video from services like Amazon Video, Netflix, YouTube and Hulu.
Seiki, Westinghouse and Element are showing off their Fire TV edition screens at CES in Las Vegas this week. They’ll feature 4K displays and remotes equipped with mics so you can use your voice to interact with apps and invoke Alexa to do things like play music and control connected devices around your home.
Plus, you’ll be able to watch live broadcasts if you connect a separate antenna.
The new TVs will become available later this year on Amazon’s site for customers in the US.
