HTC’s UH OH Protection will replace your damaged HTC One M9 for free

HTC’s UH OH Protection will replace your damaged HTC One M9 for free

HTC has introduced a new program in the US called UH OH Protection, which will replace your One M9 if it is damaged in the first 365 days, no questions asked.

That’s right – HTC is giving you insurance against accidental damage for free.

There are limitations on the UH OH Protection though – it will only be active for 12 months from the date of purchase and it doesn’t mean that you can break your phone and get a new one every week.

The process for getting a replacement is very straightforward – you dial a toll-free number and give the details of your device. Once the customer representative verifies your phone, HTC will send out a new one with an envelope for you to send back the old handset within 20 days.

The program will be extended to include the HTC One M8 after the M9 has launched on March 31.
