The project raised an impressive $1.3 million on Indiegogo after setting out with an initial goal of $160,000, clearly proving demand for its business-focused, platform agnostic answer to wireless HDMI streaming.
Billed as the enterprises’s answer to the Chromecast, its strength lies in its claimed multi-platform credentials – Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android and Windows Phone are all supported, allowing you to easily send your screen to any HDMI-equipped display.
As it’s primarily aimed at businesses, there’s also a dashboard to provide you with control over multiple devices from one machine.
Of course, as with anything that claims simplicity, the proof will be in the testing. Thankfully, we’ve got our hands on one of the first batch from the 3,000 units that begin shipping today. Check back for our verdict soon.
