WhatsApp makes voice-calling available for Windows Phone

WhatsApp makes voice-calling available for Windows Phone

WhatsApp for Windows Phone has been updated to introduce voice calling and the ability to send audio files to those running Windows 8.1.

The feature was announced earlier this year for iOS and Android, and now Windows Phone users can finally avail of it as well with version 2.12.60.

With VoIP now available on the three platforms, WhatsApp can focus on updating and improving the overall calling feature to make it a genuine competitor for the likes of Skype and Viber.
