Sling TV adds pop culture and movie channels to its lineup

Sling TV adds pop culture and movie channels to its lineup

Sling TV has added two new channels, one of which will be included in its “Best of Live TV” core package.

Polaris+ from Maker Studios will provide “online gaming, comic and pop culture” content, and is exclusive to the service. The channel will be found in Sling’s $20 per month basic package.

Along with Polaris+, Sling TV customers will also have access to the Maker channel, which will feature “popular short-form videos from Maker’s vast library of content.”

If you’re a fan of movies from yesteryear, Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is coming to Sling TV as well. The channel will fit into its Hollywood Extra add-on package, which currently costs $5 per month.
