Simply Measured now tracks your Instagram video performance, which filters your followers prefer

Simply Measured now tracks your Instagram video performance, which filters your followers prefer

Today Seattle-based Simply Measured announced the addition of support for the newly released Instagram video feature in its social media analytics service.

Given the reach of Instagram, it’s an important tool for brands to reach their audiences. Facebook reported last week that its photo social sharing tool sports 130 million active monthly users. Simply Measured made it a priority to quickly pick up Instagram’s video feature, its CEO Adam Schoenfeld told TNW, working over the weekend to launch the new service.

It does precisely what you would expect, tracking your activity and fan engagement with videos that you have posted. However, and I found this fun, Simply will also measure your video performance based on what video filter you employed over the clip.

As you will certainly recall, Instagram has released 13 new video filters for freshly snapped clips, which look all but the same as its former shading effects. Here’s Simply Measured in action:

Given the exceptionally important linguistic heritage of ‘Vesper,’ that performance is a disappointment.

As you surely expected, Simply Measured offers more features for a price. The company offers a number of free tools across social networks, but charges large accounts for access. In this case, brands and users that have more than 25,000 followers will have to cough up cash. Also, if you want to compare your data to other social networks that you are tracking, you’ll have to pay.

Simply Measured recently raised an $8 million Series B led by Bessemer. You can check out the new service here.
