Nest is teaming up with more than a dozen new partners to let users connect to and control devices, appliances around the home, reports VentureBeat.

Nest made waves selling a Web-enabled thermostat and smoke detector. By expanding its Works with Nest program in time for CES 2015, the Google-owned company’s devices can now notify users when they’ve left their LG or Whirlpool appliances on, control the shades, flash Philips Hue lightbulbs in different colors when they detect smoke and even phone the emergency services.

Other newly supported devices include the August Smart Lock, Insteon, the Ooma Telo, the Kevo Smart Lock from Kwikset, and the Withings Aura Sleep System.

Nest will also support Big Ass Fans, the Beep Dial, ChargePoint Home EV, Lightify lights, Stack bulbs, Whirlpool washers and dryers, and Zuli Smartplugs in the near future.
