Fed up with the Olympics? The Guardian lets you hide its Games coverage

The Guardian lets its readers hide its Olympics coverage from its home page, Journalism.co.uk reports. This feature is available both on the UK and US online editions of the British newspaper.

As you can see in these screenshots, all you have to do is to press the “Hide Olympics” button, and the Guardian’s dedicated Games tab will instantly disappear. Click “Show Olympics,” and it will bring it back.

While it is an interesting option, this isn’t the first time the Guardian has let its readers hide its special events coverage – this feature was first introduced during the royal wedding in April 2011.
