      The 5th edition of TNW New York is aimed at decision makers exploring how digital technologies are disrupting business as we know it in the Technology, Communication and Media industries. The event brings together 1,000 industry leaders –by invitation only– to discover, discuss and shape what’s Now and Next in digital. At TNW New York, you’ll get inspiration on what's down the road for your business in the next 2-5 years and go home with actionable tactics you can start implementing right away.

    • When and where will TNW New York 2017 take place?

      TNW New York will take place on December 12th at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan, New York City. The full address is: 125 W 18th St, New York, NY 10011, USA. For directions, please visit our venue page.

    • Can I suggest a speaker for the conference?

      Yes, you can suggest a speaker before October 27th by visiting our speaker application form here.

    • When will the speaker schedule be published?

      We endeavour to publish a program outline in September, which will allow you to understand how our content will be structured in terms of timings. A final program will be published at least one month prior to the conference.

    • I’m interested in volunteering at TNW New York, how can I apply?

      In order to apply as a volunteer at TNW New York, you must be 18 years old or older at the time of the event, interested in tech and innovation – and determined to contribute to the overall success of TNW New York. If the answer is yes to all, then click here to apply.

    • How is content structured at TNW New York?

      Content at TNW New York is structured around 3 main goals and session types:

      1. Now sessions, for delivering actionable insights that you can implement to transform your business now
      2. Next sessions, exploring the technologies and tactics that will change the rules of engagement in the future 
      3. Afterhours, allowing you to make the most of our carefully curated, invite-only guest list when it comes to networking. 


      Now sessions and Afterhours sessions take place in our business area and utilise a small, roundtable format. There are 210 of these sessions available. Next sessions take place on our keynote stage, with 9 sessions available.

    • What is a Now session?

      Now sessions are small, in-depth roundtable sessions, lead by industry experts and designed to provide you with actionable insights that you can implement to transform your business now. More than 220 roundtable sessions about the techniques and tactics that disrupting companies are using at this very moment will be available to choose from throughout the day.

    • What is a Next session?

      Next sessions take place on our keynote stage, and are focused on exploring the technologies and tactics that will change the rules of engagement in the near future. Throughout the day 9 CEOs, futurists and industry leaders will discuss the implications of new digital technologies on the transformation of your business – think Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Machine Learning, the Internet of Things and more.

    • What is Afterhours?

      Afterhours is your chance to chat with leading tech scene influencers in a relaxed setting. Each table captain is hosting an 8-seat table for an informal hour of discussions, business and – most importantly – beers. This is your chance to ask candid questions about companies or products you use or admire. 

    • How many sessions should I expect to secure access to?

      We have programmed enough Now and Afterhours roundtable sessions for each attendee to participate in a minimum of two. You can visit as many Next keynote sessions as you like.

    • When can I reserve my spot for a specific session?

      We'll inform ticket holders via email when signups for specific sessions has opened.

    • How can I follow the latest updates on TNW New York?

  • Tickets

    • How can I get a ticket?

      As TNW New York is an invite-only event, tickets are only made available to individuals who have completed an application and been successfully selected to participate. You can complete your application for TNW New York here.

    • Can I transfer my ticket to another person?

      Yes, you can transfer your ticket to another person in some circumstances. If you would like to give your ticket to a colleague or friend, please have them complete their own application for invitation here, and contact us when they have done so by using the chat window on this page. If their application is successful, we will transfer your ticket on your behalf.

    • Can I buy extra tickets now and choose the name of my guests later?

      Yes, if you have been successfully selected to participate you can order extra tickets now and assign the names later through the order management link in your confirmation email.

    • Is there a possibility for a refund if I am unable to attend?

      If you let us know before November 1st we can refund the price of your ticket minus a $50 processing fee. After November 1st, we cannot process refunds, but you can still change the name on your ticket under some circumstances. You can find information regarding this option above.

    • How can I get a letter of invitation for a visa?

      Send an e-mail to conference@thenextweb.com to ask for the documentation. We require you to have paid for your tickets before we send you an invitation.

    • Are there any discounts for group tickets?

      Yes, please contact us for more information using the chat window on this page.

    • When is the latest I can purchase tickets online?

      Tickets for TNW events tend to sell out a few weeks in advance. Please don't wait too long with ordering your ticket if you are sure you want to participate. Ticket prices increase regularly until they're gone.
