Microsoft shows off Office Graph API’s cross-platform integrations for Office 2016

Today at BUILD, Microsoft showed off its new cross-platform integrations that developers can use to build apps that deeply embed inside Office via the Office Graph API.

During the presentation, the company showed off some interesting real-world scenarios like an Uber integration that allowed users of Outlook to create a ride reminder directly from their calendar appointments.

That same ride reminder set in Outlook will pop up on your iPhone automatically when the time arrives.
