It’s been a long time coming, but Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of the Nokia Devices and Services division will be wrapped up this Friday – April 25.
Moreover, this latest announcement confirms that Microsoft will now manage the Nokia.com domain and related social media sites “…for the benefit of both companies and our customers”, though this may only be for “up to a year”. And the news also sees a little back-pedaling – Microsoft will no longer be acquiring Nokia’s Korean manufacturing facility, contrary to its previously-announced intentions.
Pssst, hey you!
