WP7 coming to Verizon on March 24th?

Good news WP7 faithful, if you have been waiting for the phone line to finally land on Verizon, your days of expectation might be coming to a quick close.

According to what appears to be a leaked internal memo, the HTC Trophy might be coming to Verizon on the 24th of March, less than two weeks from the current date. Judging from our email flow, there is quite a bit of pent up demand for a WP7 handset on ‘Big Red,’ so if true, a big day for the mobile platform is darn close.

In case you have forgotten, the HTC Trophy has 16 gigabytes of memory, a 5 mega pixel camera, and a 3.8″ screen. Below is the memo, with the important part boxed in red:

Of course, right above that it says “Please note Launch Dates are subject to change,” but hey, we can hope, right?
