Here we go again.
The FBI has re-opened its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails, following a report that some of the around 33,000 missing emails may not be missing after all.

FBI Director James Comey said in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee:
In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation … I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.

The letter notes that the FBI “cannot yet assess” how important the new material may be, and that it can’t predict how long it will take to complete the rest of the work. Meanwhile, House Speaker Paul Ryan is already calling for a cease to any future classified briefings for Hillary Clinton until the matter has been resolved:
