McDonald’s is no longer letting you watch porn while eating burgers

The porn industry has suffered a devastating loss today.

Fast food franchise McDonald’s is now filtering out all pornographic content from its public Wi-Fi service in the majority of its locations in the US.

That’s right: There were so many people watching porn while gorging on Big Macs that McDonald’s felt compelled to block access to all explicit content at their restaurants.

The decision comes after two years of pressure from internet safety activist group Enough is Enough that aims to provide safer public WiFi for “children and families”.

With this move, McDonald’s joins other chains that have already enforced restrictions on pornographic content like Chick-fil-A and Panera Bread.

While for the most part the decision reflects EiE’s frivolous concern that all porn is bad, few would disagree with McDonald’s newly imposed restrictions.

The restaurant chain has recently been linked to a potential partnership with Pokémon Go that will see McDonald’s become a sponsored location within the game.

So if nothing else, at least Go players won’t have to worry about sharing the same WiFi connection with porn watchers. Gah.
