Google Ventures’s new book aims to help startups improve their products in 5 days

Last year, Google Ventures launched a website focused on the concept of a five-day design sprint – a process for companies to help focus and define their core product and goals.

Today, the site is now followed up with its long-awaited book, appropriately named Sprint: How to Solve Big Problems and Test New Ideas in Just Five Days.’ It’s intended to act as a DIY guide, with outlines for what you should be accomplishing between Monday to Friday to get business decisions made.

sprint-diagramGV’s process has been used by successful companies like Nest and Blue Bottle Coffee – and the book highlights anecdotes from their experiences as well.

Authored by three Google Ventures partners (Jake Knapp, John Zeratsky, and Braden Kowitz), Sprint is available today starting at $14.99 for a Kindle copy or $17.94 if you like hardcovers. The authors are also roaming Product Hunt should you have any comments or questions.

Whether or not this process is right for you and your company, five days and less than $20 is a pretty simple investment for a team exercise that could improve the way your business operates.
