Glassdoor’s new job search engine could find you the perfect job — on your terms

Glassdoor’s new job search engine could find you the perfect job — on your terms

Glassdoor, which is best known a a way to vet that new company you’ve been interviewing with, has revamped its search engine to help attach you to the perfect job.

Starting a job search remains the same: you enter some keywords (like “software engineer”) and the city you’re looking for work in, and Glassdoor spits out a list of results.

The difference is on that second screen. Once you see a list of jobs, you can now whittle the results down using proximity, ratings, job posting date and type (full time, part time, etc.).

The new search engine is rolling out to the Web and mobile today, and will land in the US, UK and Canada first. The company says it will continue the rollout throughout 2016.
