Worldwide hotel chain Hyatt announced today that it found malware in its payment processing systems.

The company, which owns 627 properties in 52 countries, said that it launched an investigation into the matter with ‘leading third-party cyber security experts’ as soon as it discovered the malicious activity.

Hyatt hasn’t said which locations and how many customers may have been affected. However, it advised customers to review their payment card account statements for unauthorized charges.

The company explained that its investigation is ongoing and that it will post updates on this page.

Hyatt is the latest hotel company to have been affected by a cyberattack in 2015; its rivals Hilton and Starwood also reported that they were hacked earlier this year.
